Target Audience
This activity has been designed to address the educational needs of physicians specializing in urology and urologic oncology. This activity will also benefit specialists in medical oncology, radiation oncology, and pathology as well as other healthcare professionals, such as nurse practitioners and physicians assistants, interested in the management of patients with bladder cancer.

Learning Objectives
Upon proper completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
  • Identify the benefits of various neoadjuvant chemotherapy options for patients with advanced bladder cancer.
  • Analyze recent clinical trial data on emerging immunotherapies and combination therapy for the treatment of bladder cancer.
  • Explain the rationale and various strategies for instituting a multidisciplinary approach to managing advanced bladder cancer, including involving patients as a part of the care team.
