This activity is provided by Paradigm Medical Communications, LLC.

Target Audience
This activity has been designed to address the educational needs of dermatologists, dermatologic surgeons, plastic surgeons, facial plastic surgeons, oculoplastic surgeons, ophthalmologists, otolaryngologists, nurse practitioners, and PAs. It may also be of benefit to other physicians, nurses, and healthcare providers who are involved in the field of aesthetic medicine.

Statement of Need
Optimal use of injectable agents is based on comprehensive knowledge of the anatomic changes seen with facial aging, the products to be used, and the latest techniques. The Volumetric Structural Rejuvenation approach to panfacial rejuvenation utilizes new generation soft tissue fillers and a bimodal (2-step), trivector (3 injection site) technique based on sequential repletion of the deep fat pads with depot injections, followed by more superficial injections to correct localized areas of volume loss, customize contours, and create facial symmetry. Neuromodulators and other modalities are then selectively used as part of a refined, individualized treatment plan agreed upon by both physician and patient. This activity has been designed to educate aesthetic clinicians on how to effectively and safely select and use available soft tissue fillers and neuromodulators to facilitate natural, harmonious, panfacial rejuvenation.

Learning Objectives
Upon proper completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
  • Perform comprehensive assessment of anatomic changes throughout the aging face to inform creation of a comprehensive plan of care for optimal facial volumization and rejuvenation.
  • Select appropriate treatment for aesthetic rejuvenation throughout the face based on the indications, efficacy, and potential adverse events of available soft tissue fillers and neuromodulators.
  • Incorporate the latest strategies and techniques for optimal individualized facial volumization and rejuvenation with soft tissue fillers and neuromodulators.
