Program Overview 

Join Dr Tseng and Dr Richter for a case consult that considers a patient with worsening glaucoma who has been treated unsuccessfully. After reviewing the patient’s history and ocular exam results, the faculty discuss appropriate target pressures, frequency of glaucoma monitoring, risk factors for normal tension glaucoma, and treatment approaches for this patient. The challenges of treating glaucoma are evident as this patient requires multiple interventions to lower her intraocular pressure. Watch to see if you would make the same decisions as Dr Tseng and Dr Richter.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

• Discuss appropriate use of current and emerging treatment strategies for glaucoma, based on clinical data, patients’ needs, and severity of disease
