Earlier diagnosis and treatment of peripheral artery disease—the most prevalent, costly, and deadly disease most Americans have never heard of—and coronary artery disease, a common comorbidity. In part 1 of this 2-episode news broadcast, renowned vascular experts delve into the latest research and provide practical, cutting-edge strategies for saving lives and limbs in underserved Black communities, with a focus on diagnosis.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize the impact of PAD in racial/ethnic minorities
