Program Overview
Despite advancements in NSCLC treatment, patients with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) overexpression face unique challenges in care. Although a new indication of an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) that targets HER2 means clinicians now have more treatment options for patients with NSCLC, testing for HER2 as an actionable biomarker is still challenging. This activity will explore HER2 overexpression, testing, and the latest efficacy and safety data for HER2-targeted ADCs. Clinicians will gain practical insights to optimize treatment selection and align care with current guidelines, ultimately improving patient outcomes.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Assess the most recent data supporting the role of HER2 overexpression as an actionable biomarker in NSCLC
- Apply the latest clinical data regarding HER2-targeting agents to treatment decisions for patients with NSCLC
- Review safety and efficacy clinical trial data of HER2-targeted agents
