Target Audience

Program Overview 

Best practices for the optimal use of soft tissue fillers are evolving at a rapid pace based in better understanding of the characteristics of agents used and how they behave over time once injected. Current trends include expanded use on and off label throughout the face and body, including use of longer-acting biostimulatory agents, filler dilution/hyperdilution, and evolved injection techniques. These advances provide clinicians with additional tools to achieve optimal aesthetic results. With increasing demand for, and refined use of these agents, comes the need for appropriate education and training to assure safe and effective results throughout the face and body.
 

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

• Assess anatomic effects of aging in areas throughout the face and body that can be treated with long-lasting biostimulatory fillers to aid in appropriate treatment planning
• Apply current best practices for the use of long-lasting biostimulatory soft tissue fillers, especially variations in dilution and injection technique, for individualized aesthetic rejuvenation and contouring of the face and body
• Describe the safety profile and expanding uses of long-lasting biostimulatory soft tissue fillers, especially those that influence patient outcomes, based on expert clinical consensus
