Program Overview
Join this live, in-person symposium to learn how to navigate an increasingly complex therapeutic landscape and optimize outcomes for patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Discover how precision medicine is transforming the treatment of AML. This dynamic program will explore the critical role of IDH1, IDH2, and FLT3 mutations in guiding treatment decisions, highlighting the latest advances in targeted therapies that are reshaping patient care. Through expert insights and practical clinical guidance, attendees will gain confidence in molecular testing, interpreting results, and selecting personalized treatment strategies.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe key advances in the treatment of AML that can impact the use of targeted therapy based on recent approvals, emerging data, and ongoing clinical trials
- Interpret current approaches to the management of IDH-mutant AML, and possible impacts of recent clinical trial data on IDH inhibitors, including novel sequencing and triplet combination sequencing studies
- Determine the appropriate management of patients with FLT3-mutant AML and how recent approvals and emerging data may inform treatment decisions
