Target Audience
This activity has been designed to address the educational needs of physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation, including those specializing in medical rehabilitation, musculoskeletal medicine, neuromuscular rehabilitation and central nervous system rehabilitation, urologists, neurologists, primary care physicians, and other interested healthcare practitioners. 
 
Learning Objectives
Upon proper completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
  • Identify a systematic approach to the evaluation and diagnosis of OAB and NDO.
  • Discuss individualized management plans for NDO that incorporate evidence on treatment efficacy, benefits, and drawbacks, as well as patient perspectives and potential need for timely referral.
Describe a multidisciplinary team approach to care of patients with NDO that includes communication strategies for incorporating patient perspectives and establishing realistic patient expectations.
