Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of dermatologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare providers who are involved in the treatment of atrophic facial scars of acne vulgaris.
 
Learning Objectives
Upon proper completion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
  • Review the benefits of a thorough evaluation of an individual’s type and grade of post-acne scarring and skin type when determining the most appropriate treatment option.
  • Summarize mechanisms of action, benefits and drawbacks, safety and efficacy of available and emerging treatment options for post-acne scarring.
  • Describe principles for formulating individualized treatment plans for post-acne scarring in collaboration with patients.

  • Complete and submit the online posttest and evaluation. You must answer 70% of the posttest questions correctly to earn credit. You will have unlimited opportunities to successfully complete the posttest.
